This course in Braintree provides a good overview of meditation practice, as well as some guided meditations, which help you learn how to establish and sustain a daily meditation practice. It also teaches you how to be mindful in your day-to-day life. It consists of 12 weekly sessions, each lasting an hour and a half.
This course, ideal for beginners and improvers, introduces you to the principles of meditation, mindfulness and relaxation with the view to improving your wellbeing and reducing stress and anxiety in your day-to-day life.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
do basic meditations.
describe the key principles for meditation and relaxation.
recognise at least 2 ways to help you to relax.
describe how mindfulness can improve wellbeing.
recognise the role that nature plays in wellbeing and mindfulness.
