Stop Poor Boundaries Ruining Your Life - Workshop

Stop Poor Boundaries Ruining Your Life!

FREE Workshop!

Thursday, 23rd February 2023 at 7:30pm (BST)

How to have good boundaries isn’t something they teach in school! This workshop explores how you can avoid getting into situations where you feel unheard, overburdened and just going along with what other people want because it is easier in the short term.

This workshop is not just fundamental for folks with chronic illnesses and neurodivergents, but also people-pleasers, carers, HSPs and parents.

Do you:

🌱 Get overburdened with everyone’s problems even when you try to say no?

🌱 Feel everyone wants a piece of you or your time?

🌱 Feel disrespected and like you don’t matter?

🌱 Never have time for yourself and your goals?

You will learn:

✨ What boundaries are and how to assert them well.

✨ How boundaries differ across different relationship types

✨An understanding of what’s best for you for each relationship type in your life.

✨ How to avoid getting into situations where someone oversteps your boundaries and how to do damage control if they do!

“Bex is without a doubt one of the best teachers I've had. They’re so helpful and really prepares their lessons to perfection. They challenge you as well as building your confidence."

Her Story (Chelmsford)

Her Story (Chelmsford)

Why are men are at the forefront when we talk about history? Who are the forgotten, yet ground-breaking, women of history? How does gender affect our daily lives and how has this changed over time? From Anne Lister’s diaries to the second wave feminists’ idea of wages for housework, from early animationist Lotte Reiniger to the quite recent Magdalene Laundries, we examine changing perceptions about gender and gender roles through the last 300 years.

Over the 8 sessions you will widen your knowledge of history and gender studies and enable them to discuss the impact of women in history. This course is for beginners and improvers.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Describe the impact that one of the women studied has had on society at the time.
